LAHORE, Pakistan – TCL Solar has made a significant impact at the Solar Pakistan exhibition, which concluded on Sunday, April 19, 2026, by unveiling its T5 Pro solar module. This latest offering represents a substantial advancement in N-type TOPCon technology, designed to meet the escalating demand for low-carbon energy solutions across South Asia and the Middle East. According to a press release from PR Newswire, the T5 Pro module is poised to become a flagship product in the industry, promising breakthroughs in conversion efficiency and power output.
The innovative design of the T5 Pro module includes an overlapping tri-cut cell construction, which the company states significantly enhances performance and energy yield. Beyond its efficiency gains, the module is engineered for reliability, featuring low-current technology that results in precise temperature control and reduces hotspot temperatures by up to 45°C compared to conventional modules. This focus on safety and longevity is crucial for diverse applications, from commercial rooftops to large-scale ground-mounted power stations. TCL Solar also highlighted its Lightweight Module, specifically optimized for commercial and industrial rooftops, particularly in areas with structural limitations. This module, weighing only 5.4 kg/m², offers improved power output and a lighter footprint.
Building on the momentum generated at the exhibition, TCL Solar and Taimoor Trading Co. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This partnership is set to expand access to clean power and foster sustainable development within Pakistan and the wider region. The T5 Pro's ability to enhance energy generation while reducing project lifecycle costs is expected to provide a high return on investment for both residential and commercial solar installations, aligning with the global push towards decarbonization and energy independence.
