Noise Launches Design-First ALT Tech Series in India, Featuring AI-Powered Smartwatch and Earbuds

NEW DELHI, India – May 28, 2026 – Noise, a prominent name in India's connected lifestyle market, has officially launched pre-bookings for its "ALT" series, a new personal technology ecosystem that prioritizes design and individual expression. The ALT series, an acronym for "Alternative to Autopilot," is engineered to cater to a younger demographic seeking devices that go beyond mere functionality, offering a blend of style, meaningful technology, and personalized experiences. This launch marks a significant move by Noise to expand its footprint in the wearables and audio segments with a unified design language characterized by clean lines, balanced proportions, and bold color choices.

ALT Watch 1: Merging Design and AI

The flagship product of the ALT series is the ALT Watch 1, a round-dial smartwatch that has already garnered international acclaim by receiving the Red Dot Design Award 2026. This wearable seamlessly integrates minimalist aesthetics with premium materials, featuring a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1000 nits, a functional rotating crown, and a robust aluminum frame. Beyond its sophisticated design, the ALT Watch 1 is equipped with Noise's proprietary AI features, including AI transcription, personalized health insights, and an AI-powered watch face generator dubbed "AI Playground." The smartwatch also boasts built-in GPS, comprehensive health tracking capabilities, and compatibility with popular fitness platforms such as Strava, Google Fit, and Apple Health, positioning it as a lifestyle-focused device for everyday use.

Audio Innovations: ALT Buds Open and ALT Clip

The ALT ecosystem also extends to innovative audio solutions. The ALT Buds Open are designed as open-ear earbuds, prioritizing comfort and environmental awareness, and have also been recognized with a Red Dot Design Award 2026. These earbuds feature a secure fit with a liquid silicone hook and flexible memory wire, alongside support for Hi-Res Audio and the LHDC codec. They offer quad-mic calling, AI assistance, dual-device pairing, and an impressive battery life of up to 35 hours. Complementing the earbuds is the ALT Clip, a lightweight, clip-on audio device that incorporates dual magnetic drivers, Hi-Res Audio support, AI-enabled features, and up to 28 hours of playback time. The series will also include in-ear options, with the ALT Buds offering 35dB active noise cancellation and Spatial Audio, and the ALT Buds (S) serving as an entry-level model.

Strategic Vision and Market Positioning

Amit Khatri, co-founder of Noise, emphasized that the ALT series is a response to the evolving preferences of Indian consumers, who increasingly value design and personal expression in their technology choices. "People now want design and meaning, not just a spec sheet," Khatri stated, highlighting the brand's strategy to align with this trend. The pre-bookings for the ALT series are currently open on Noise's official website, as well as on major e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart. The national launch is slated for June 16, 2026, with the ALT Watch 1 and the open-ear audio products leading the initial rollout. This strategic introduction aims to capture a significant share of the growing market for design-centric consumer electronics in India, offering a compelling alternative to conventional, less personalized tech gadgets.
