AlpenFury Continues to Set Coaster Records
The park's record-breaking coaster, 'AlpenFury', which debuted last year, will continue to be a major draw in 2026. Described as Canada's longest, tallest, and fastest launch coaster, it holds a world record for the most inversions on a launch coaster with nine. The park is building on this momentum of thrilling attractions by also focusing on enhancing the overall guest experience through new entertainment and events. The 2026 season promises a full lineup of events, including the return of the popular Brew and BBQ event in June, alongside three new live shows featuring cirque, acrobatics, and musical performances.

Beyond the new roller coaster and continued thrill rides, Canada's Wonderland is rolling out a comprehensive events calendar for 2026. The season kicks off with a Season Passholder Preview on May 1st, offering exclusive early access before the public opening on May 3rd. Scheduled fireworks displays will illuminate the park on May 17th, July 1st, and September 6th. The popular Splash Works water park is set to open on May 23rd, offering a variety of water attractions. The live entertainment offerings are also being expanded, with new shows such as 'Retrospect' at the International Showplace, promising a high-energy production of current and throwback party anthems. Guests can also look forward to the return of the Victoria Falls High Divers and performances featuring Snoopy and the Peanuts gang.
